A cada manhã, John Stott iniciava o dia com essa oração trinitariana:

Bom dia Pai celestial,
Bom dia Senhor Jesus,
Bom dia Espírito Santo.

Pai celestial, te adoro como criador e sustentador do universo.
Senhor Jesus, te adoro, Salvador e Senhor do mundo.
Espírito Santo, te adoro, santificador do povo de Deus.

Glória ao Pai, ao Filho e ao Espírito Santo.

Pai celestial, oro para que eu viva esse dia em Sua presença
e o agrade mais e mais.

Senhor Jesus, oro para que nesse dia, eu possa tomar a minha cruz e segui-lo.

Espírito Santo, oro para que nesse dia me enchas de Ti mesmo e faça Seu fruto amadurecer em minha vida:
amor, alegria, paz, longanimidade, benignidade, bondade, fidelidade, mansidão e domínio próprio.

Santa, bendita e gloriosa Trindade, três pessoas em um Deus
tenha misericórdia de mim.
